Reality Star Injured in Alleged DUI Crash


March 25, 2010 (Horatio Algren) According to reports reality star David ”Puck” Rainey was seriously injured in a DUI car crash.

Reality star David Puck was injured in a vehicle accident in rural San Diego County, when he veered off the road in the vicinity of Descanso, according to California Highway Patrol Officer Brian Pennings. The officer stated Thursday that Rainey had his eight year old son with him and vehicle rolled down an embankment trapping Rainey in the car.

Rainey was driving a Ford hatchback and his son Bogart was able to free himself and flag down a passing motorist, according to Officer Pennings. Both Rainey and his son were flown to the University of California in San Diego for medical treatment. According to a hospital nursing supervisor Rainey was in good condition, but could not comment on the stars injuries. It has been reported that Rainey is still hospitalized and will undergo several surgeries for his injuries.

Rainey’s son Bogart was released to his mother, Rainey’s wife Betty according to Rainey’s manager Michael Martin. According to California Highway Patrol Officer Pennings Rainey will be facing charges of driving under the influence, driving without a license and child endangerment.

The reality star appeared on MTV’s The Real World, the San Francisco set in the third season as a bad boy bike messenger.
