June 17, 2010 - According to reports, actor Chris Klein was arrested yesterday in Los Angeles for driving under the influence.
Actor Chris Klein age 35 was arrested in Los Angeles while driving on Highway 101. Klein was pulled over to the side of the highway a little after 3:00 a.m.According to authorities the actor failed a series of field sobriety tests and submitted to a breathalyzer test and according to reports his BAC registered three times over the legal limit.
Klein was arrested and taken to jail in the Los Angeles Police Department jail in Van Nuys and held until posting $25,000 bail. According to reports this was not the actor’s first DUI offense in California and due the latest arrest for driving under the influence he could face a minimum of 4 days in jail. The sentence however could be suspended by a judge. Klein’s first driving under the influence arrest occurred in 2004.
